Meet the MakerBot! 3D Printer In-Person

You'll notice a new "face" in our 3D Lab--the MakerBot Replicator+ 3D Printer! This 3D printer is very user-friendly, and you can often watch one at work printing demos at the Information Desk. Now you can get an overview of how to set up the machine, how to load files into the MakerBot Print software, what settings are the most important to understand to get started, what is most likely to cause failures, and how to troubleshoot.

Ages 18+. (NOTE: Kids may accompany an adult to this training to get an understanding of the process, but, when it comes time to reserve equipment in the 3D Lab for your own printing projects, the adult must have a Waiver of Liability signed and on file and be the one using the 3D Lab equipment. Children are encouraged to try their hand at 3D printing with an adult and a tech kit like the Toybox or the DaVinci.)
