Intellectual Property 101: Patents, Trademarks and Copyrights

Entrepreneurs, startups and inventors face significant obstacles navigating the patent, trademark and copyright process alone. Learn the basics of patent protection from Luke C. Holst, a registered patent attorney and former patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and Clint Cadwallader, a trademark and copyright specialist that represents a wide array of clients and non-profits, both domestically and internationally. In this introductory presentation, we will cover what you must know before entering the complex world of patents, trademarks and copyrights, how to obtain intellectual property protection, and the importance of protecting your intellectual property rights.
