The Do Space Mentor program offers members the opportunity to meet with a dedicated volunteer to jump-start learning. We offer volunteers who are experienced in a wide range of technology skills from basic computer needs to more advanced programming and 3D Lab guidance. Mentor appointments are intended to empower the member to roll up their sleeves and tackle projects on their own.
Not sure which mentor can help with your project needs? No worries, just click the info icon to the right of the volunteer's name to find out their skills list and area of expertise. Please try to match up your needs with the mentor best suited to help you. If a mentor is unavailable to assist with your specific needs, the Volunteer Coordinator will find a mentor who can help.
Please schedule your meeting at least a week in advance to give your mentor time to prepare for the meeting.
If you need assistance with a machine in the 3D Lab, you must book the equipment as well for the same time as the mentor appointment. Failure to do so will not guarantee the equipment is available.
The Universal Laser System is out of service until further notice. No mentor requests for use of the machine will be approved. Software assistance is still available.
We no longer have the 3D Scanner. We are sorry for the inconvience.
Your meeting is not confirmed until you recieve a calendar invite from firstname.lastname@example.org.
